In August 2026, We’re Heading to Switzerland!
Next summer, 32 Scouts and leaders from the 90th Bristol Scout Group will embark on an incredible adventure to the Kandersteg International Scout Centre in Switzerland for our annual summer camp. This world-renowned centre brings Scouts together from across the globe – uniting us in friendship, fostering cultural exchange, and empowering young people to tackle some of society’s biggest challenges.
As Scouts, we believe a better world is possible, and this experience helps make that vision real.
What’s in Store?
We’ll join more than 1,500 Scouts from around the world for a 9-day programme packed with exciting opportunities, including:
- Exploring nature and hiking through the breathtaking Swiss Alps
- Discovering new cultures and learning about global citizenship
- Adventurous outdoor activities that challenge and inspire
- Community service projects supporting the local area
- Understanding climate change and its impact on alpine regions
- And of course – having fun and building lifelong friendships!
